What the 12th house covers
The 12th house sits just before the Ascendant, at the end of the cycle. It covers time alone, sleep, dreams and places of retreat, such as hospitals or quiet places away from daily life. It also covers what you keep private, even from yourself.
Planets here can be harder to see from outside. They often work quietly and appear in private habits, in creative or spiritual work, or in helping people behind the scenes.
A cadent house: it comes before an angular house. Planets here adapt, learn and prepare.
