Prism — Privacy Policy

Prism (“we”, “us”) is an astrology app published by [OWNER LEGAL NAME], [ADDRESS / COUNTRY]. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Contact: support@prism-horoscope.com.
1. What we collect
Information you give us
- Birth details: the name you enter for a chart, birth date, birth time (or that it’s unknown), and birth place (city, country, latitude/longitude and time zone). These are needed to calculate your chart and forecasts. You can add charts for other people; only add someone’s details if you have their permission.
- Account details (optional): if you choose to sync across devices, your email address and the account identifier from Sign in with Apple or Google. If you use Sign in with Apple’s “Hide my email”, we receive a relay address only.
Information created automatically
- An account identifier. When you open Prism, we create an anonymous account so your charts can be saved without signing up. It is a random ID, not your name or email.
- Usage analytics: which screens and features you use (e.g. “paywall shown”, “plan viewed”), app open/close events, device type, operating system, app version, and approximate location derived from your IP address by our analytics provider. Event properties never contain your birth details or forecast text.
- Purchase information: if you subscribe to Prism Gold, the store tells us (through RevenueCat) which product you bought, when, and whether it is active, in a trial, or cancelled. We never see your payment card details.
- Calendar access (if you use it): if you add a timing window to your calendar, Prism asks for write-only access and creates the event. Prism does not read your calendar.
What we don’t collect: precise device location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, or health data. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
2. How we use it
- To calculate and show your charts, forecasts, timing windows and widgets.
- To keep your data in sync between devices if you link an account.
- To provide and verify Prism Gold subscriptions.
- To understand which features work and fix problems (aggregated analytics, crash reports).
- To respond to you when you contact support.
Legal bases (EEA/UK users): performing our contract with you (providing the app), our legitimate interest in improving and securing the app (analytics, crash reports), and your consent where required.
3. Who we share it with
We use the following processors, only to run Prism:

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or others. If Prism is sold or merged, your information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
4. Where it’s stored and how long we keep it
Data is stored by our providers, which may be in the United States or other countries. Where required, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards. We keep your data for as long as your account exists. Cached forecasts can be recalculated and may be removed at any time. Analytics data is kept for [RETENTION, e.g. 12 months].
5. Your choices and rights
- Delete your account: Profile → Delete account permanently erases your account, charts and forecast history from our servers. Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription; cancel it in your Apple or Google subscription settings.
- Export your data: Profile → Export my data gives you a copy of everything we store about you.
- Correct your data: edit a chart’s details at any time.
- Calendar access: revoke it at any time in your device settings.
- Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, UK or California), you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. Contact support@prism-horoscope.com.
6. Children
Prism is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, and access is restricted to the providers listed above. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
8. Changes
We’ll update this page when our practices change, and notify you in the app for significant changes.
