The zodiac is the part of the sky where the Sun, Moon and planets move. It has twelve signs of 30° each. Every sign has an element and a mode, and a ruling planet. Here is what each sign is about, in plain words.

Right now The Sun is in Scorpio. The inner ring shows where every planet is today.

Questions

What are the twelve zodiac signs in order?

Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces. The order follows the Sun’s path through the year, starting at the March equinox.

Why do sign dates change slightly from year to year?

The dates are when the Sun enters each 30° part of the zodiac. That moment moves by up to a day, because the calendar year is not exactly the same as the solar year. If you were born near a change of sign, your exact birth time decides your sign. The birth chart calculator tells you.

Which zodiac does Prism use?

The tropical zodiac. It follows the seasons: 0° Aries is the March equinox. It is the standard in Western astrology.

Is my sign all there is to my chart?

No. Your Sun sign is one of ten planets in your chart. Your Moon sign describes your feelings. Your rising sign describes how you meet other people. Together they are your big three.
