How this is made
These horoscopes come from the real sky. They are not written in advance. Prism calculates where each planet is every day. Then it reads the sky in the traditional way for sun signs.
A birth chart has twelve houses. Each house is an area of life, such as money, home or career. For a sun sign, Gemini is the 1st house, the next sign is the 2nd house, and so on. So every planet is in one house for Gemini. The Moon’s house sets the focus of the day.
A planet is in a helpful position when it makes an easy angle with the sign. It is in a difficult position when the angle is tense. Venus and Jupiter usually help. Mars and Saturn usually add pressure. A planet is retrograde when it seems to move backwards in the sky. Tradition reads this as a time to review rather than to start. New moons are good for starts, full moons bring things to a peak, and eclipses mark turning points. Together, these give the day one of Prism’s five colours, from Hard to Harmony.
A sun sign is one twelfth of a birth chart, so this reading is the same for everyone born under it. The Prism app reads the same sky against your whole chart. Astrology is for reflection and fun. It is not advice.
Gemini runs from about May 21 – June 20. The exact day the Sun changes sign moves by a day or so from year to year. If you were born near the change, our free calculator tells you which sign your Sun is really in.
From the real sky. Gemini is read as the 1st house of the chart, Cancer as the 2nd, and so on. So every planet is in one area of life for Gemini. The Moon’s house sets the focus of the day. The angles between the planets and Gemini decide if the day is easier or harder.
Mercury. A planet is retrograde when it seems to move backwards in the sky. When Mercury is retrograde, the Gemini horoscope suggests reviewing your plans rather than pushing ahead.
It describes the general picture for everyone born under Gemini. Your own chart has ten planets in different signs and houses. So the same day can feel different for two people with the same sign. The Prism app reads the sky against your whole chart.
